YEREVAN. – The Armenian government will join protection of intellectual property rights within the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Cabinet adopted the decision during a meeting on Thursday.
Thus, the Armenian government agreed not to allow imports of goods from Eurasian Union member states without agreement of the rights owners. The goods of mentioned items and brand must be included in the common customs register of the intellectual property items of the Eurasian Economic Union.
In addition, Armenia is obliged not to let re-export of goods imported without the agreement of rights owners to other Eurasian Union member states.
