YEREVAN. – On the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan on Thursday hosted a reception at the Presidential Palace.

The reception was for the children and grandchildren of the numerous fallen and disabled Karabakh War soldiers, war veterans and military servicemen, and for the children who are physically challenged.

On behalf of himself and the First Lady, President Sargsyan warmly congratulated the participants in the event and all the children on the coming holidays, and he extended his best wishes to them.

“You are the hope of our country, the future of our country,” the President specifically stated addressing the children in attendance.
