YEREVAN. – The exchange rates of the American dollar (USD) and the euro against the Armenian dram (AMD) have risen to some extent in the banks that are operating in Armenia.
Accordingly, USD 1 was purchased at a maximum high of AMD 459, as of Friday at 11:10am.
The banks in Armenia bought the US currency at AMD 456-459/$1, Rate.am reported, and sold it at AMD 466-468/$1.
The euro was bought at AMD 553-560/€1 and sold at AMD 569-583/€1.
The dollar and euro exchange rates had reached record highs in Armenia on December 17, but they have dropped ever since the same evening.
