YEREVAN. – The future of Armenian nation is inextricably linked to membership in Eurasian Economic Union, Armenian communists believe.
The Comunist Party of Armenia supports membership to the Eurasian Economic Union, secretary of the party Tachat Sargsyan said.
He admitted that Armenia will have to accept some conditions and may face certain inflation. Nevertheless, Sargsyan is convinced that Armenia will have prosperous life and economy development.
“I do not doubt that by joining the Union, our country will become prosperous,” he emphasized.
Commenting on unfavorable economic situation in Russia, he expressed confidence that Russia will once again become one of the most developed countries, while Armenia “one of the leading former Soviet republics”.
