MOSCOW. – The Russian government has approved the agreement on founding a joint humanitarian response center with Armenia, the government website reported.

The center is planned to be established to help eliminate emergencies in the Caucasus.

The center will collaborate with the respective agencies of the UN, European Union, and several other international organizations.  

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has been instructed to conduct talks, with participation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and sign the agreement on behalf of the Russian government, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
