YEREVAN. – The Azerbaijani side has never learned to distinguish between what is sabotage and what is not considered sabotage.

The Armenia defense minister’s press secretary, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, told about the aforementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am. He stated this upon the request to comment on the Azerbaijani media reports with respect to an alleged incident and the “capturing” of a Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army (NKR DA) former soldier.

“On the one hand, it can be advised [to Azerbaijan] to hold special courses to do away with the ignorance of Azerbaijan. But on the other hand, the Azerbaijanis can be understood. If the Azerbaijan army solely suffers defeat, they wish to present any development as ‘victory,’ [to present] the shepherds and the elderly as saboteurs, [and] the criminals who escaped justice, [as] victims, or again [as] saboteurs,” Hovhannisyan specifically noted.
 

As reported earlier, NKR DA ex-conscript Arsen Baghdasaryan on Friday fled to Azerbaijan to escape trial.
