YEREVAN. – Armenia and Russia have extended by one year the duty-free regimen for the Russian natural gas, fuel, and natural rough diamond supplies to Armenia, informed the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia.

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Yervand Zakharyan, and Russian Minister of Energy Russia Alexander Novak signed the respective protocol of the agreement that was signed in December 2013.

In addition, the ministers discussed cooperation in the electricity industry, and the 2015 projects for the balances of the fuel and energy resources.

Russia supplies about 100,000 tons of oil products and 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Armenia.
