Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick commented on the incident that occurred during the OSCE monitoring on Wednesday.
“Reported gunfire near OSCE monitors in Nagorno-Karabakh is a clear violation of security guarantees from the sides. NKpeace,” he tweeted.
Karabakh Foreign Ministry's press service reported about gunfire from the Azerbaijani side during the monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in the Hadrut direction near Horadiz settlement.
The Karabakh side led the OSCE mission to its frontlines. But due to the shots fired from the Azerbaijani side, the field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office found it advisable to interrupt the monitoring for safety reasons.
