YEREVAN. – The gasoline and diesel fuel prices in Armenia rose slightly in December as compared with the previous month, representative of Armenia's statistical service Gurgen Martirosyan told reporters.

Gasoline prices went up by 2.6 percent within a month, while diesel fuel price rose by 3.5 percent. At the same time a downturn in prices was registered as compared with December 2013 by 3.5 percent and 0.7 percent correspondingly.

Transportation fares in Armenia grew by 4.2 percent which is mainly based on the average growth in air ticket prices by 8.8%, the national statistical service said.
