YEREVAN. – Armenia's friendly partnership with U.S. continued developing in 2014, says the annual report issued by Armenian Foreign Ministry on Monday.

On September 26 Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian held a meeting with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland. The U.S. Congress hosted an event dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide and independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

The U.S. Congress delegation headed by the Chairman of the Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives Ed Royce visited Armenia in April. The delegation was received by President Serzh Sargsyan, a meeting with NKR President Bako Sahakyan was held. Congressmen visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

The bilateral launch of a visa liberalization process: a visa-free regime for American travelers and ten-year multiple entry visas for Armenians came into force.
