YEREVAN. – The sources of Armenian News-NEWS.am have informed that ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party member Levon Mkrtchyan will be appointed Armenia’s new Ambassador to Germany.
According to our information, a decision was made to again entrust this diplomatic position to the ARF.
Armenia’s Ambassador to Germany was ARF member Vahan Hovhannisyan who, however, passed away on December 28, 2014, after a long and severe illness.
Between 2000 and 2001, Mkrtchyan held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and from 2006 to 2008, he worked as the Minister of Education and Science of Armenia.
