Richard Findikian’s film, entitled “Aznavour Story 2015,” will be screened during the national festival of French-Armenian book.

The festival will be held on April 25 in Marseille, France, and within the framework of the commemoration events devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, reported the French-Armenian Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine.

The movie trailer includes a small episode from an interview conducted with world-renowned French-Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist, and diplomat Charles Aznavour.

“I’m in favor of Turkish youth trying to learn what is not in the books, which are reedited, or in the newspapers, which are republished; it’s not good to do such things.

“I believe the time has come for Ankara—not the Turks—to adopt an important decision, a genuine decision. Turkey, the big country, will become even bigger if it were to accept what happened,” Aznavour specifically had stated during the interview.
