YEREVAN. – Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Thursday received the IMF delegation headed by Armenia IMF mission Mark Horton.

They discussed bilateral cooperation, economic situation in Armenia, as well as issues related to taxes and monetary and credit policy.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan said that economic development continued last year and economic activity indicator grew by 3.9 percent. Abrahamyan added his government would continue moves and reforms aimed at ensuring economic growth, improving business climate and promoting investment attractiveness.

The head of Armenia IMF mission attached importance to the continuation of measures taken to ensure economic growth in order to resist the challenges and carry out the reforms.

They discussed the IMF-provided Extended Fund Facility (EFF) and Extended Credit Facility (ECF) programs and possible additional assistance to Armenia.
