A man was found dead on Thursday, in a house Shnogh village in Armenia’s Lori Region. 

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that there were burns on the body, and a stabbing trace on the abdomen.  

The man was living alone, and his neighbors had not seen him in several days. Subsequently, they had reported the situation to the relevant agencies and, as a result, the man was found dead at home; he was 54 years old.

According to preliminary information, the man had sustained the injury days ago, but he died sometime thereafter.

The real cause of death will be determined after the completion of the investigation.

A forensic medical examination has been commissioned on the body.
