YEREVAN. – There are roads in Armenia that are either closed or difficult to drive as of Saturday at 9am, reported the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

The Sotk-Karvachar Highway, “Zanger” road section of the Yerevan-Meghri Highway, Torosgyugh village section of the Gyumri-Bavra Highway, and the 15th kilometer of the Vanadzor-Alaverdi Highway are closed.

The Aparan-Aragats Highway, the Akhuryan village roads, and the Vardenis town motorways are difficult to drive.

In addition, there is black ice on some sections of the bends of Dilijan city, and on the Voskepar village section.

The drivers are advised to use winter tires on their vehicles.

And according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is open for all vehicles with chained wheels.
