YEREVAN. – The Rescue Service of Armenia received a call on Saturday at 10:26am.

Accordingly, two vehicles had crashed nearby Arshaluys village of the Armavir Region, there were affected, and rescuers were needed to remove them from the vehicles.

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a VAZ 2104-model car and a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (driver, A. Gh.) had collided, for yet unknown reasons, on the Etchmiadzin-Armavir motorway.

As a result, one person had died and two others had sustained injuries.

Prior to the fire and rescue squad’s arrival at the scene, however, the injured, T. (born in 1956) and A. Gh., were transferred, by local efforts, to the Etchmiadzin city medical center.

Doctors say the patients are in satisfactory condition.
