Engineers from the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland have printed a 3D tree with leaves with organic photo elements, Geek Times reported.

It is reported that all components of this unusual “plant” have been created with the use of a 3D printer.

Such a tree can generate electricity, and keep the energy in batteries.

Its creators have noted that a small bush with such leaves is enough to charge mobile phones, NEWSru reported.
