YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 478.63/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 0.28 from Monday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 540.95 (down by AMD 0.79), that of one British pound was AMD 739.10 (up by AMD 3.21), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.59 (up by AMD 0.09), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 249.29, AMD 18,535.22, and AMD 17,896.6, respectively.
Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 1,900,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 479.63/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 479.75/$1.
