YEREVAN. – Turkey has not made any formal statement in connection with Armenian leader's decision to withdraw the protocols which proves that Turkey is not interested in the documents any more, Armenian turkologist Andranik Ispiryan told reporters.

Official Ankara touched upon Serzh Sargsyan's decision twice and only in response to reporters' questions.

“Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgic named Armenia's move non-constructive. Moreover, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu did not give assessment to Armenia's move claiming that there can be no word about the ratification of protocols until 'Azerbaijani lands are occupied',” Ispiran said.

Turkey's unwillingness to make a formal statement proves that Ankara is not interested in the protocols any longer and signed the documents as a show.
