YEREVAN. – It is hardly possible to speak of serious opposition in Armenia: opposition, if not destroyed, is weakened, political analyst Sergey Minasyan believes.
Prosperous Armenia party is trying to warm up internal political processes using a false start.
“Some forces within the party probably thought it would be appropriate to give a preventive response in connection with the adoption of the package of constitutional reforms,” Minasyan said.
The analyst is confident that this processes will hardly have a positive impact on the political life in Armenia. The political career of Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan is frozen, he added.
