YEREVAN. – Inter RAO JSC will petition to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan with a request for an agreement on restructuring the debts of the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC.

Company Executive Director Yevgeny Bibin stated the aforementioned at Wednesday’s meeting of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia.

He recalled that an Inter RAO working group is in Armenia at present, and it is looking into the current situation in the enterprise.

“Currently we have problems in connection with taking loans and ensuring further stability. We assume that a corresponding document will be prepared, within three weeks, for the meeting of Inter RAO CEO Boris Kovalchuk and Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan,” Bibin stated. “I hope an agreement will be signed, which will enable to establish relations with the banking sector and achieve the restructuring of the loans.”
