The Supreme Electoral Commission (SEC) of Egypt has instructed to delay the country’s parliamentary elections, whose first round was due to start on March 21.

The SEC decision was made public one hour after the Supreme Court ruled part of an election law unconstitutional.

According to the SEC statement, the parliamentary voting is postponed in Egypt until respective amendments are made in the election law.
