A French-Armenian young man was detained on Monday after he threw a cup of pomegranate juice on Turkish Ambassador to France Hakki Akil, Arman Avagyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Avagyan said the man named Tad is a member of "New Generation" (Nor Serund) organization.
“He is detained by police. Most likely he will be released in the afteroonon,” Avagyan said.
The incident happened at Paris Descartes University when Akil was delivering a speech.
