YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia party has no ideology or a positive program. The speeches delivered by former leader Gagik Tsarukyan resemble toasts, rather than a political program, analyst Alexander Iskandaryan said.

The fate of Prosperous Armenia depends on ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA).

“It depends on the willingness of people outside Prosperous Armenia. I am personally interested whether Mr. Tsarukyan will still be the sponsor of the party. How many people will leave the party? Does it matter? Nothing but financial investments united the member of this party,” he said.

During the Thursday congress of Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan said he was leaving active politics and was giving up his position as a party chairman. Naira Zohrabyan was elected chairman of the party.
