YEREVAN. – The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, has prepared a small but important gift for his wife on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8, which, however, is a secret to the media.

Speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, the minister congratulated all women on this special day, and wished them health and happiness.

Ashotyan also noted that he is happy to be working in a sector where the women’s involvement is the largest. 

“We are the leading and this is very natural because upbringing, education is hard work, whereas men leave the hard work to women,” the minister added.

Armen Ashotyan also congratulated all Armenian female MPs—including Naira Zohrabyan, who on Thursday was elected new Chairperson of the Prosperous Armenia Party—in connection with the International Women’s Day.
