The sources of Armenia NEWS.am have informed that no arrests have yet been made in connection with the recent exchange of fire in Gyumri city.  

Even though six people were detained on Sunday, they were later released. 

Gyumri Medical Center Director Armen Isahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the three patients, who were brought to this hospital after the aforesaid shooting, are in satisfactory condition, and they are in the surgery department.   

As for those who were taken to “Erebouni” Medical Center in capital city Yerevan, Isahakyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that he was informed from this hospital that two of them had undergone surgery, as they had sustained brain trauma, both are in the intensive care unit, and they are in critical but stable condition. The other patient, on the other hand, is still hooked up to the artificial respirator, whereas his brother has been transferred to the surgery department.

Shots were fired on the night of March 7 in a Gyumri street. As a result, six people were taken to the local medical center. Three of them had sustained gunshot wounds, whereas the rest were stabbed and pierced.

Three of these injured were later transferred to “Erebouni” Medical Center, and in serious condition.
