The Prosecutor General’s Office of Abkhazia has found the person who is suspected of committing the crime against Verzhine Surmenelyan, a Grade 4 Armenian student at the secondary school of Gumista village of the Sukhumi District.
The Prosecutor General’s Office has informed the aforesaid to Alsinpress.
The suspect is arrested, but due to investigation interests, no information about him is given.
To note, Surmenelyan’s dead body was found on December 2, 2013 in an abandoned house in the aforementioned village, and with stab wounds around her neck and traces of rape.
