YEREVAN. – The European Investment Bank is ready to finance energy efficiency in Armenia. This was stated by representatives of the bank at a meeting with Minister of Urban Development of Armenia Armen Gularyan.

Representatives of the bank said that they are going to discuss the continuation of energy-saving programs in the country. The bank is ready to provide Armenia with long-term loans with low interest rates for programs aimed at improving energy efficiency.

After analyzing the volume of programs for Armenia, the amount of possible investment will be discussed. Thanking for the meeting, the deputy minister said that proposals from the European Investment Bank will be discussed with the relevant experts in the near future.
