YEREVAN. – Foreign policy of Armenia and Kuwait is based on universal values ​​of peaceful coexistence of nations and peoples, the strengthening of international peace and security, regional stability. This was noted during the meeting of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and President of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouq Al-Ghanim.

Speaker of the Kuwaiti Parliament expressed confidence that the visit of Prime Minister will give a new impetus to deepening and expansion of relations between the two countries. The interlocutors highly assessed the level of political dialogue between Armenia and Kuwait. They noted the importance of further development of inter-parliamentary relations, enhancing economic cooperation, expanding ties in other areas.

The sides also emphasized the importance of the Armenian-Kuwaiti cooperation within international agencies.

Marzouq Al-Ghanim praised the performance of the Armenian community of Kuwait and the role of the Armenian diaspora in the development of the country.

After the meeting Hovik Abrahamyan attended the plenary session of the Parliament of Kuwait.
