YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s interstate and national roads are open for traffic as of Tuesday at 10am, reported the Ministry of Transport and Communication.
But the Artik-Alagyaz motorway is difficult to pass, and there is black ice on some parts of the Martuni city section of the Vardenyats (Selim) Mountain Pass.
In addition, there is a snowstorm around Vayk city and the Artik-Alagyaz road, and it is snowing in the Aragatsotn, Lori, Tavush, Shirak, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik Provinces.
The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways to ensure safe travel.
