YEREVAN. – The Minister of Agriculture of Armenia, Sergo Karapetyan, on Wednesday received new US Ambassador Richard Mills. 

Congratulating the guest on commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia, the minister expressed a conviction that Armenian-American relations will get new stimulus during the tenure of the new US ambassador.

Subsequently, Karapetyan briefed the American diplomat on the current situation of Armenia’s agricultural sector, the respective results in recent years, and the ongoing and upcoming projects.

Ambassador Mills, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the high-level of Armenian-American cooperation in agriculture, and assured that will make maximum effort to make respective collaboration grow deeper during his term in office.
