Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s response to the question, which a Turkish journalist asked him during the “At the Foot of Mount Ararat” international media forum being held in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, was widely covered in the Turkish media.  

Haber7 website of Turkey considered the President’s response an important statement on Turkey. The website quoted Sargsyan as saying that recalling the Armenian-Turkish protocols from the parliament of Armenia does not mean closing the door to reconciliation.  

Kanal A haber website wrote that the Armenian President stressed that he was forced to withdraw these protocols due to Turkey’s policy.  

Gercekgundem website informed that Sargsyan, in response to the Turkish journalist’s query, explained that no results were achieved in terms of the ratification of these protocols, and it is clear for everyone who is to blame in this matter; that is, Turkey.  

And Haber3 news website of Turkey highlighted the Armenian President’s words that his country will not participate in a process that is sacrificed to the non-constructive approaches of a third country; that is, Azerbaijan.
