YEREVAN. - The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, extended congratulations to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Hassan Rouhani of the Islamic Republic of Iran.    

In his message, Sargsyan expressed his best wishes to the people of Iran on the occasion of Nowruz, the Iranian New Year.

The President of Armenia also expressed confidence that the traditional, friendly, and warm Armenian-Iranian relations and the strong interstate ties will further expand for the sake of the peaceful and prosperous future of the two peoples.
