YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Assembly (NA) will deliberate on the Greek and Assyrian genocide resolution immediately after the approval of the agenda of the parliament’s regular four-day session.

NA President Galust Sahakyan told the aforesaid to reporters on Monday, and in response to the respective query posed by opposition Heritage Party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan.

In this connection, NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov—who is of Greek origin—noted that the parliament on Monday received the representatives of Armenia’s Greek and Assyrian communities, who will be attending the session.

“Let’s welcome them!” the deputy speaker announced, whereupon the Armenian National Assembly MPs greeted the guests with applause.
