YEREVAN. – The Eastern Partner summit in Riga will be discussed during the visit of Francois Holland to Armenia, French Ambassador to Armenia Jean-François Charpentier told reporters.
The diplomat said that EU considers important clarifying possible directions of cooperation before the summit in Riga. The sides are working on drafting the text of a document, he added.
In this context, at the wish of the Armenian side, the focus will be on the areas that will not contradict Armenia's obligations to the Eurasian Economic Union.
“We believe it is necessary to go to Riga summit with a clear idea of the direction for the development of cooperation. During the visit, President Hollande will discuss this topic,” he said.
