YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 477.71/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is down by AMD 0.65 from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 516.45 (up by AMD 5.90), that of one British pound was AMD 710.88 (up by AMD 6.26), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.01 (up by AMD 0.06), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 244.23, AMD 17,932.65, and AMD 17,148.29, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 1,200,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.29/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 475/$1.
