The Office of the Armavir Provincial Coordinator of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, the Armavir Provincial Hall, and the Municipality of Etchmiadzin held, in Etchmiadzin city, a cognitive-academic event devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

In his opening remarks, Gurgen Grigoryan, the Armavir Provincial Coordinator of the Chamber of Advocates of Armenia, noted that the objective of this event is to give a legal assessment to the actions by Turkey which committed the genocide.

He added that the Chamber of Advocates has a committee that discusses the legal processes toward achieving the international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The mayor of Etchmiadzin, Karen Grigoryan, for his part, stated that Armenians need to raise the respective legal awareness further, since this requires the common interest of the Armenian people.

Armavir provincial attorneys, teachers, provincial hall employees, and schoolchildren also delivered remarks at the event.
