YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 475.18/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 2.53 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 521.18 (up by AMD 4.73), that of one British pound was AMD 709.87 (down by AMD 1.01), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.16 (up by AMD 0.15), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 255.59, AMD 18,122.8, and AMD 17,431.5, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 4,400,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 473.37/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 473/$1.
