YEREVAN. – The constitutional reforms in Armenia are not an end in itself, and they are conducted to make the country’s economy and system of governance effective.

Ruling Republican Party of Armenia MP Mkrtich Minasyan stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Wednesday.

In his words, Armenia is not the first country to be transitioning to a parliamentary format of government.

“As for that our country is in no war, no peace, and there may occur a need to make quick decisions, these matters will be resolved pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the country,” Minasyan said. “That is, there will be accountable decision-making persons for each situation.”
