YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information, on Wednesday at 2:09pm, from the National Seismic Protection Service of Armenia.
Accordingly, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake had struck Azerbaijan at 1:49pm local time.
The seismic activity measured magnitude 4-5 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was 10 km beneath the surface.
The tremor was not felt in Armenia.
