YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Finance of Armenia will place USD 487 million from the second issuance of foreign currency bonds.

The respective decision was adopted at Thursday’s Cabinet session.

Owing to this decision, the average maturity period for the payments of foreign currency bonds will increase.

In addition, the amount of the future payments for the foreign currency bonds will reduce.

As a result, in 2020, it will be required to repay USD 500 million, instead of USD 700 million.
