YEREVAN. – There is an impression that Armenian commission for protection of economic competition is engaged in the opposite mission – protection of Serzh Sargsyan's monopoly, opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan said.

“During my yesterday's speech, I said sugar price is 395 drams per kilo, while commission chairman Artak Shaboyan claimed sugar costs 369 drams. He had to add 'Yerevan City – the best price in the region plus three lavashs for free!',” Pashinyan said.

The opposition MP said it is clear why sugar price is lower in Yerevan City supermarket chain: sugar business and the mentioned chain belongs to one person – MP from ruling Republican Party of Armenia Samvel Aleksanyan.
