YEREVAN. – Russia, within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, will provide technical assistance to Armenia in purchasing customs equipment.
The respective draft decision was approved at Thursday’s Armenian Cabinet meeting.
In this connection, First Deputy Minister of Finance Pavel Safaryan informed that Armenia will receive necessary computing and telecommunications equipment.
In addition, the Armenian customs experts will be given training courses in customs control, and the Armenian border sanitation services’ employees will undergo training in veterinary and phytosanitary control.
