STEPANAKERT. – The President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), Bako Sahakyan, on Thursday convened a meeting of the NKR Security Council.

The Armenian Genocide centennial commemoration events, and preparations for the 2015 spring sowing were on the agenda of the talk.

Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed about the aforementioned from the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Sahakyan stressed that the genocide centenary commemorations should be held on a high level in Artsakh and be widely covered by the media. The President also gave several instructions toward the proper implementation of these activities.

And in connection with the preparations for the 2015 spring sowing, Bako Sahakyan noted that everything possible should be done to ensure a normal course of necessary activities, and he gave relevant instructions in this context.
