YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia will attempt to provide jobs in the country for the Armenian residents who cannot travel to Russia for work.

“We will try to engage them in seasonal employment programs,” Minister Artem Asatryan stated. “They can also be public work, and several target programs.”

The head of the Armenian State Migration Agency, Gagik Yeganyan, had earlier informed that about 50 thousand to 60 thousand citizens of Armenia are in a risk group for violating the Russian immigration laws, and therefore they are banned from entering Russia for several years.
