Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union will open up new opportunities in terms of expanding Armenia-China economic relations, President Serzh Sargsyan said during his meeting with China Prime Minister Li Keqiang.

A broad range of issues on deepening of bilateral ties in mutually beneficial areas with the full use of the existing potential of interaction between Armenia and China was discussed. The interlocutors touched upon energy, transportation, chemical industry, education, science, culture, aquiculture, aviation, tourism and infrastructure development.

President of Armenia and chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China underscored importance of the work of Armenia-China commission on trade and economic cooperation. They noted progress registered in bilateral relations over the recent years.
