YEREVAN. – Armenia's general department of civil aviation will change regulations for the crew members if it is required by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), aviation department's representative told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“ICAO is drafting instructions for the member states. If there any changes, we will definitely accept them,” the representative said.

As reported earlier, Germany, Canada and the Netherlands have introduced new rules, according to which two crew members must be in plane cockpits during the flight.

The new rules followed Airbus A320 crash that occurred on March 24 in the French Alps. According to prosecutors, co-pilot Andreas Lubitz could deliberately crash the plane.
