YEREVAN. – President Serzh Sargsyan received Kazakh Ambassador Ayimdos Bozzhigitov, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The President thanked the ambassador for his efforts, during his diplomatic tenure in Armenia, in the strengthening and development of Armenian-Kazakh relations, and wished him success in future endeavors.

Sargsyan also spoke about Armenia-Kazakhstan collaboration within the framework of international organizations and integration unions.

Ambassador Bozzhigitov, for his part, expressed a gratitude to the President and all Armenian state agencies with which the Kazakh embassy in Armenia has cooperated during his nine-year diplomatic mission in the country.

The ambassador also noted that, ever since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the Armenia-Kazakhstan political discourse continues on the basis of mutual respect and trust, and the bilateral relations develop in a dynamic fashion.

The interlocutors shared the view that following Armenia’s recent accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, there are greater opportunities to further strengthen Armenian-Kazakh economic relations, too.
