YEREVAN. – By 2016 Armenia's economy will start feeling advantages of joining Eurasian Economic Union, Russia’s Minister for the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatiana Valovaya said during discussion in Yerevan.

“2015 will be a tough year when the basis for economic growth is laid. This work comes in time of economic instability that we will have to overcome. But in 2016, I think, we will witness withdrawal from cyclical crisis,” Valovaya said.

Although trade within the Eurasian Union declined for two consecutive years, the EEU official said there were changes in the structure, namely the share of finished products has increased, and secondly, the price decline was higher than decline in physical volume.
