The conclusions of the forensic medical report on the case into the brutal murder of the Avetisyan family in Gyumri, Armenia, are known.

Yerem Sargsyan, the attorney of the legal heirs of the slain family, told Armenian News-NEWS.am that although they have received and gotten familiarized with these conclusions, they do not yet consider it advisable to publicize them.

“There are significant factors, in connection with the case, which will ultimately be summarized, or be confirmed, refuted after receiving the conclusions of the genetic examinations,” Sargsyan said.

The attorney added that once the conclusions of the genetic examinations are received, a comprehensive examination will be commissioned.

As reported earlier, six members of the Avetisyan family—including a two-year-old girl—were shot dead, and a six-month-old baby was wounded in their house in Gyumri on January 12; and the baby boy died in hospital on January 19. Valery Permyakov, a serviceman of the 102nd Russian Military Base in Gyumri, stands accused in this crime.
